It was one of best hotels I've ever lived (and I travel a lot, living in hotels of the same price range). SO would certainly stay again. And the Day tour was brilliant!

Absolutely lovely hosts in a very comfortable home. Every detail had been thought about (including a wee torch next to the bed for night-time). The house is located right next to a lovely historic river walk down to the main town, with a bus-stop outside as a return option. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. We very much appreciated the hospitality shown to us.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Portman Lodge offers accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. With free private parking, the property is 20 km from Monkey World and 25 km from Poole Harbour. Corfe Castle is 32 km away and Salisbury Racecourse is 35 km from the guest house. Breakfast was excellent and honestly why we chose Portman Lodge. My husband wanted to experience an English Breakfast. Neal was super helpful and friendly. The room was much nicer, comfortable and more modern than expected.

Has everything a couple or small family would need for a short stay. Very clean and comfortable. All the little touches like the wireless phone charger were much appreciated.

Still in shock over how good it was. Easy to find, easy to find the key cards, great communication from the team beforehand on how to find everything. There was a booklet in the flat with everything you needed to know during your stay and recommendations on places to go and how to get there.
