We decided to stay a couple of nights for our anniversary. Our stay was very relaxing. The facilities were excellent, high quality and comfy. So comfy we even wanted to buy the pillows to take home. The hostess, Lisa, was wonderful. She answered all my questions before we arrived and met us with the keys. She prepared what I think were the best breakfast baskets we've ever had during stays with Booking.com. The food was healthy, delicious and plentiful. These breakfasts were a highlight of our stay. The apartment itself is large and very comfortable. The location was perfect and parking was available right in front of the property. The apartment is in an historic building that I believe was built in the early or mid-1800s. It has large windows that look out onto the garden in the front, and even though it is located on the main street, the village of De Cocksdorp is small and very quiet during day and night. The shower was great, as was the bed: we slept comfortably at night. Thank you, Lisa!

The room was spacious and very clean, the beds were comfortable. There is a very spacious garden in the back to chill out after a long day of cycling. The hosts were really nice and helpful. Breakfast was amazing! (Turns out, good breakfast is really hard to find in the Netherlands, so this is a big plus!) Fresh, high quality products, served with love. It was the best breakfast we had in the Netherlands. The location is very handy since there are restaurants and a bike rental in walking distance, as well as beautiful hiking trails. We highly recommend this place and hope to come back one day!

This family hotel, which has free WiFi, is situated a few minutes' walk from the beach on the island of Texel. Most rooms of Hotel Kogerstaete Texel offer a balcony or terrace. The accommodation is only 850 metres from the beach, while the forest is 70 metres away. The personal attention from the staff was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning! We also recommend the restaurant for dinner.
