For guests with children, Ocean View B&B features both an indoor and outdoor play area. The accommodation has a picnic area and a barbecue. The size, cleanliness and facilities could not be faulted but the best bit by far were the views. Absolutely stunning across the bay. However, to get those views you have to go uphill and so I would suggest it is not easily walkable into town. But there is plenty of parking in town so a short drive is not a problem at all.

Just a minutes’ walk from the golden sands of Pauanui Beach, Ocean Breeze Resort boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and a steamy hot tub. All self-contained apartments feature a balcony or patio with pool views. The unit for 3 of us was excellent with beautiful surroundings and a lovely heated pool. The bathroom came with a spa bath and ample shower space. We also had a washing machine and dryer in the apartment which was a bonus and very much appreciated. The hostess Louise was very friendly and helpful and shopping was only 5 mins away.

The hosts were super nice, the lodge and the whole area so peaceful, beautiful and clean. Luxurious retreat! Highly recommend.

Centrally located in the historic Coromandel Township, Coromandel Apartments offer self-contained accommodation with a full kitchen and a patio. Some apartments are located in the central Coromandel Township, some at Beach Side and some at Harbour View. Free parking and free WiFi access are provided. We loved this self contained little house with all of the amenities we needed for a great stay in the Coromandel Peninsula, and we loved the town of Coromandel. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it for a couple, perhaps even with kids since there is also a pull out sofa bed. Great value as well!

This beachfront holiday park features a children’s play area, a hot tub, a games room, a convenience store and an internet kiosk. All accommodation includes a kitchenette, air conditioning and a TV with DVD player. Loved our cottage! The location was awesome and private. So clean and comfortable, and the ocean view was great! Enjoyed walking the beach and picking shells. Check-in was easy and the manager was so friendly and welcoming!
