We stayed at Voco as a base for our nearby wedding. The staff at the hotel are some of the nicest, most helpful, most accommodating staff I've ever seen in hospitality. Any ask we had (for which some were obscure) was greeted with a smile and "of course". I'm not sure when the staff at this establishment ever say something isn't possible. Some of the absolute best service I've ever encountered. As a bonus the accommodation is stunningly beautiful as well.

There are plenty of dinner options nearby and you are very close to all the wineries in the hunter region. Plenty of cute horses at the farm and even saw some kangaroos! It was our first time using the water-less compost toilet and it was easy to get used to. There was more storage space than we anticipated. We were on a barn stable so it was lovely to see the horses outside everyday. And beautiful sunsets too!
