Finca San Rafael is a traditional Eco-friendly Cacao Farm set near Minca, 15 km from Santa Marta. The farm stay has a year-round outdoor pool, barbecue and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant.

The staff were so friendly and helpful and had a good time working together. There was always someone available to answer a question. Meals are offered onsite and were yummy! There's also a kitchen you can use if you prefer to cook. We loved the animals on the finca - dogs, cats, mules as well as the beautiful birds all around. The location was perfect - great views all around, out of the hustle of Minca, no loud music or cars at night. Great place to relax in nature and drink coffee and cacao (unlimited supply!). The coffee and cacao tour was informative and really interesting - our guide Camilla was great! It was also neat to see the coffee production live as we went during harvest season.

Really enjoyed watching all the birds from our balcony. We saw two Tucans on our final morning. Beautiful scenery. The food was excellent and not too expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting the coffee farm and visiting the little bar where you could buy their craft beers and drink overlooking the farm. We loved bird watching with David. He had good knowledge and also had very good equipment for us to use. I would recommend the activity.

It’s a beautiful property with a lot of charm - the farm birds and cats were awesome to interact with, the room is beautiful and spacious with a super comfortable bed, and Nore is incredibly kind and so accommodating! Breakfast was great as well. Really enjoyed hanging out at Minca Glamping during the day - it’s a great place to just relax.

This property was insane. So beautiful, the staff were all lovely, and had the option of dorm and private rooms that gave it an upscale hostel feel where it was easy to chat and make pals in the common areas. The photos don’t do it justice. Highly recommend doing the permaculture tour with Pim and Annie at the farm that supplies the food. One of our fav experiences in Colombia.

Really charming and rustic place with great taste. The entire place was very calm with amazing views over the lush valley towards Santa Marta. The perfect place for a sunset drink and some birdwatching!! The quiet, peaceful location makes the uphill walk from minca village worth it.

Beautiful scenery and views from the swimming pool area. Lots of wildlife and birds can be seen from the finca. We enjoyed that it was a working farm and enjoyed the coffee and cacao tour. The room was large. It was good having a swimming pool to cool off. Breakfast was provided, although basic, was standard in comparison to other places that we have stayed in. The workaway volunteers were very friendly.

What it does it does perfectly. You spend the night on a coffee farm. Not a hotel, not a hostel. I love exactly that about it so i've already come several times. The price is also super fair.

The big pool above with lovely with a great view. Food mostly homey and tasty. Good hiking trails accessible from the lodge with waterfalls, chocolate farm, the wonderful Caoba nature reserve, etc. Rooms stay cool. Outdoor fire every night is a nice touch.

This is a very special place. Access to the hotel is challenging via 4 wheel jeeps or walking. The staff and volunteers couldn't do enough to help and were very accommodating. Not only is this a working coffee farm, it is also an animal sanctuary, there were a number of friendly cats, dogs and horses which was lovely. Food was good, fantastic views and interesting birds nearby

hostel had 3 pools with the most beautiful views of the mountains. nice activities. good place to meet people. good food, especially the seafood stew. rooms with AC and mosquito nets. not a very touristy location. I can recommend going on your own to a big waterfall with 3-4 levels just a bit further down the road from Pozo Amor. no people here except a lady who owns the property and whom you may have to pay 2000 pesos to. can also recommend going to the cacao farm nearby, amazing experience.
