Situated in Aswan, just 23 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum, Nubian Farm Aswan features beachfront accommodation with a private beach area, a garden, a bar and free WiFi. Boasting a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. The farm stay has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests.

Mahmoud and Ayman were both so helpful. The apartment was very spacious and decorated in traditional Nubian style. It is located on the West bank of the Nile so there is a private boat to take you over the river which can be requested at any time. The food was traditional eygtian and delicious especially the cheese at breakfast. If you want a quiet place with beautiful views of the Nile and the desert this is the place to stay.

Nice secluded location on an island (possibly) in the river Nile. Very exotic with rural surroundings & a village with farms just behind the guest house. U have to hire a motor boat to reach there, so it is a good idea to do your sightseeing in the city Aswan before you check in as the boat service is neither prompt nor cheap.

Nubian style stay in the middle of a rural village. Great experience. Manager Padro organised private car for our day trip to Abu Simbel and to Luxor at a reasonable (tourists) price, although you do have to pay in dollars.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely stay here! Our host was lovely and friendly and we were greeted with a welcome drink, which was a lovely touch. Had a lovely view of the Nile and the desert area from the rooftop terrace. Our room was rustic and cosy. Very close to the archaeological site on Elephantine Island and the ferry boat station.

Daily boat transfers between Nubian Farm and city on the nile were uncomplicated and the most enjoyable experience of the trip. The host and the staff are very friendly and relaxed. We felt very welcome at the farm.

I took the upper room, which had its own terrace with Nile and desert view. I enjoyed a lot watching the boats on the Nile while having breakfast or a tea on the terrace and the rural atmosphere (the guesthouse is surrounded by rural, small farmers houses). The guesthouse is simple and authentic, a five-minutes walk away from the ferry. The brothers who are running the guesthouse are always very helpful.

The view is magnificent, the owner is super nice and easy to deal with, food that you order is local food cooked nearby. The location on Elephantine Island is perfect - you are in an old Nubian village with farmlands, so it feels very rural but just 5 minutes walk away is a ferry over to central Aswan. Also, the WIFI outdid anything we had gotten in central Luxor. Will come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Nubian Farm. We arrived in Aswan really late at night and they still arranged to ferry us across the river and gave us a delicious lemon drink on arrival. The place is colourful and peaceful, and the breakfasts were hearty and delicious. Mahmoud was very helpful, spoke excellent English and organised a small day trip to the Nubian Village, Elephantine Island and the Botanical Gardens for us.

The location is perfect, right on the nile. I wanted a place with lots of green and farm like. This was exactly it. I was worried about the transportation to and from the island, but the hotel has its own boat, so it wasnt as issue. It desirves the 9.7 rating.

The guest house is on the Elephantine island in Aswan, quite easily reachable via boat and in a more "rural" neighborhood. They came to pick us up at the dock and to help us with our luggage with a simple wheelbarrow. However, the rooms themselves were beyond my expectations: sparkling clean, newly furnished but not aseptyic, with bright Nubian colors and pristine quality. We spent only one night, but we had a great stay there!

Outstanding way to enjoy the nile & the nubian way of life.. maharoush is a great host and sherif an outstanding chef. The lovely dogs are great company and the pet crocodiles a source of daily engagement.. also take some time to meet the rabbits, goats & the other flora & fauna in the farm. Climb the sand dunes behind for great sunsets & sun rises..
