The hosts were extremely helpful, the barn was equipped with everything needed for a large family, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the barn overall was very clean! The location was also beautiful, perfect for a weekend break.

Beautiful cottege close to the middle of Tenterden. Recently refurbished and looking amazing with modern comfort but rustic charm - everything you would want from a cost country cottege.

We had such a lovely time at Heel Barn. It’s a fantastic space inside and out - the large garden is great with amazing views all the way to the sea, and the interior is really nicely done, with so much open plan space for cooking, eating (huge dining table) and relaxing. Having facilities like the hot tub and pool table was an added bonus and there’s plenty of seating outside too. Thanks Ruth!

Lovely very new accommodation fitted to a very high standard and complete with many extras such as air con, wine fridge, along with fresh breakfast supplies. Very comfortable bed. Modern, tasteful, well-equipped and in a very peaceful rural location. Easy parking on site. Friendly hosts. Ten minutes walk via a footpath into the pretty NT village of Chiddingstone, and to the castle with woodland walks.

Accommodation was very well equipped and appointed and very clean. Towels and bedding of excellent quality. It is set in beautiful surroundings in a very rural area so very peaceful. Eve, the host, was exceptionally helpful and friendly without interfering unnecessarily. Nothing was too much bother for her.

The property is in a very rural location but is about a 20 minute walk to the beach. The walk is through fields, country lanes and by beautiful cottages so it is a pleasure in itself. The bungalow has a fabulous garden with a well stocked games cupboard for indoor and outdoor activities. it is well stocked with books and dvds for bad weather and evenings. I was travelling with an elderly relative and the accessibility of the bungalow and is dog friendly policy is another plus point. the welcome pack was great quality and very welcoming.

Check in was easy and well communicated. The room was nice and modern, with reasonable storage. Tea, coffee, milks, sugars and bonus apple juice cartons and cereal bars were appreciated. Location was lovely and rural, central to several places of interest, and easy to get to. Staff seemed friendly and communicative. Although, unfortunately unable to resolve my issue, which I understand to a point because of health and safety, but it is a design flaw. Wine and ale at the pub was tasty.
