The farmhouse was a unique stay - there is a museum of sorts on the first floor that details an interesting history of the area as well as a theater where you learn about the life of Dan O'Hara. You can walk the property and see the old O'Hara house. Lots of roaming friendly animals on the property. Breakfast served each morning was delicious. The property is also connected to the city via greenway/sidewalk so it is possible to walk into town which we found to be a big bonus when we did not want to drive.

Location was excellent. A manageable walk to town centre but far enough out to create a rural escape. The view from the property was fantastic with sea inlet views and mountains in background. A great location to use as a base for touring Connemara. Property itself was practical and overall very comfortable.

Perfect spot when touring Connemara in Ireland. Also, take your time and see what Dan O'Hara Farmhouse has to offer - for example, the old farmhouse and the short video.

Really comfortable and well equipped cottage. Perfectly located in farming area but within easy walking distance of pubs, restaurants and shops. Ideal for exploring the most scenic parts of Connemara. Charming and welcoming hosts (including collie dog!). Lots of nice touches such as fresh farm eggs, logs and turf for fire, milk, butter etc in the fridge. Immaculately clean throughout.

This was one of the best B&B's I have stayed in. The room was cozy, clean and well equiped. The breakfast was homemade, fresh, very delicious and varied every day. The host is very lovely! The recommendations she gave me made my trip even more special. The sunrise and the sunset over the bay are magical! Another plus: You might be able to see dolphins, they visit this area due to the salmon farm!

Cosy friendly atmosphere, lovely sea view in a quiet rural location. Excellent ( but quite pricey) restaurant specialising in seafood and fresh veg and herbs from their own garden .
