This is a really lovely bungalow built with traditional materials, in a lovely spot. It has the best bed we have slept in in India, king size and very comfortable. It helps to have a car, or scooter/bicycles as Hampi is large. It's very quiet so a nice respite from crowds. The bathroom is very basic but that's standard by local norms, and enjoyed it. There is an effective water heater.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or requests. The location was also excellent, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Banana Farm house is run by the small Gowda family, members of which are simple, hospitable and would take good care to ensure your stay is comfortable. Clean rooms. Clean bathroom with hot water provision. Good property about 2 kms from Virupaksha temple. Mr Gowda (Pampi with love) provides good guidance and goes out of the way to provide assistance and make arrangements. He helps with travel arrangements and also bike rentals. Good home made food is available on prior notice.
