HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Stazzu Coiga is located in a beautiful, isolated valley in La Galluria. It has 4 rooms only, a stunning infinity pool (!), a big tree under which breakfast and dinner are served, 3 friendly dogs and cows in the valley, We stayed there for two nights after we left the ferry. Katarina and Domenico are very welcoming, warm and wonderul hosts and staying with them is the perfect introduction to Sardinia. Whatever you do when you visit - make sure to have dinner here. Katarina served 12 cold appetizers (!), 3 warm appetizers, pasta, meat and desert. She cooks local dishes and extremely well and the dishes are delicious. We could not finish at all and Katarina packed the leftovers for lunch the next day. Most vegerables are grown in the garden. Breakfast was huge, with 5 different types of cake and home-made yoghurt, ricotta, honey and jam. Plus cheese and cold cuts. I probably left something out... Next year, there will even be a charging station for electric cars with energy from on-site solar panels. On our way here we explored the archaeology sites around Arzachena and went to the beaches and Castelsardo the next day.

The place is put in a beautiful, rustic area but it is quite modern inside. Bedrooms were nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable. We loved playing with the owners dog!

Old farm with a brand new swimming pool amid beautiful surroundings. The owners are very kind, and pamper you with an amazing breakfast and delightful aperitivo with fresh vermentino wine.
