Located 6 km from the beaches of Balestrate, Baglio Carta is a traditional Sicilian building on a working farm. Surrounded by vineyards and citrus groves, it offers free Wi-Fi, a pool and country-style rooms.

We stayed here for one week and enjoyed the delicious breakfast with fresh (home-made) products every day, in a beautiful setting with great views. Dinner was also of high quality and a la carte: price-quality excellent. The Rufino family is doing everything to make its guests as comfortable as possible. Pleasantly surprised by the tour of the olive yard with tasting of mango, prickly pear, kaki. Highly recommended! A place to stay 🫶

The accommodation is stocked with everything someone on holiday needs. I really liked the typical rustic farmhouse style of the entire complex. The extreme tranquillity and peace that the area offers. The breakfast was very diverse and inviting. The pool is definitely a service to consider, especially during hot periods or on windy days when you can't go to the beach. Lucy and the rest of the staff were very courteous, hospitable, and responsive to all my requests.

The apartment is in a very central location in Balestrate and shops, farmacies, restaurants etc are close by and in walking distance. The beach is a little bit further away (about one kilometer) and in particular with small children it is useful to have a car. The apartment itself is very clean and equipped with everything you need. Mino provided us every day with useful tips for excursions and he was very attentive. We really enjoyed out time in Balestrate! Many thanks Mino :-)

Pool is great, food option in house is a really nice to have. Location works well for Scopello, Palermo Airport etc. Staff are amazing! So Friendly. Has a nice rustic vibe to the place. Nearest town is 10mins drive. Feels like it's off the beaten tourist track somewhat, which is great. We really enjoyed our stay. Staff are amazing! Really nice mix between locals and internationals, just feels like everyone is welcome.

Luca, Ciara, and Federica were amazing hosts! Phenomenal food - fresh, local and incredibly tasty. Their olive oil and local produce were delicious. Some of the best food we tasted in all of Italia. Beautiful views of the farm and surrounding countryside.

Loved this property. It has beautiful views of rolling hills down to the ocean. The history of the property is fascinating. We loved the animals that roamed around. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and all organically grown on the farm. Our room was comfortable and authentic for a historic farm stay. The host was lovely. She was very friendly and made sure our stay was enjoyable and all of our needs were met.

The location is perfect with so many opportunities of visiting other towns and beaches. The pool is perfect for an afternoon plunge to relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the farm. Alessandro and his family are always available to share their family's history with you and offer suggestions of where to visit. Dinner is abundant with all the local ingredients as the plates continue to arrive on your table along with a bottle of his own wine. Also perfect setting for a wedding <3

A working farm but all facilities for guests. rooms surrounding a beautiful large courtyard with trees for shade to cover dining tables where breakfast of all local produce - most from their own farm. Each room had all facilities including outside seating area on the perimeter of the courtyard. The staff could not be more helpful in every way - unbelievable! The restaurant also reflected the same care and commitment to making our visit the highlight of our tour.

This place is a dream come true. What an incredible place to visit. The villa lays between their vineyards and olive trees and has a spectacular swimming pool. The courtyard though is the place to be though. A romantic spot underneath these old trees where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner. Most of the food produced at the farm. Make sure you taste their white Grillo wine. The family who runs the villa and their staff are most charming, kind and flexible. I was sad to leave and hope to return soon.
