An amazing and quiet place. Next to a beautifull stream, in the middle of the mountains. The staff was super friendly. I slept wonderfully. And I fell in love with this place. I definately intend to come back. I loved it.

Le Casette di Leila is at an incredible location literally hanging over lago Como with views left and right across the lake (5' from the house) and working farms, alpine meadows and a deep forest. Daniele and Leila were wonderful hosts and their cooking authentic for the region and delicious. A real gem. The single lane road up is also a real adventure - as the hosts noted 'don't come with a Ferrari or Porsche'

The house is a lovely piece of history hidden away in the mountains of Lake Como, but still close enough to the lake and the village of Bellagio. You can be sure you will feel at peace in this rural but welcoming area. Our host Klod was amazing, and super communicative, always ready to help, and gave us some very nice recommendations of places to go in Bellagio. Two big bedrooms with comfortable king size beds and also a seperate kitchen with a dining table. The overall size of the apartment is great. Considering value for money 10/10. Driveway just outside of the front door was just perfect. A bit of a rural feel to the property that to me was an advantage. Nice, welcoming hosts!

They provided water, pasta and bread upon arrival. We had no car to get to Bellagio so the host offered to be our taxi service - reliable, worked with our timings and gave us a reasonable rate.
