The location was magical, peaceful yet strategic, not to far from the main road which takes you to a near by beach or just a few km more takes you to Porto Ercole/Santo Stefano or the Maremma national park. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfy. The staff (Marta) was an absoulte delight, kind, professional and works with a big smile. Lovely location. Quiet and rural, but close to great beaches and archeological sites (Cosa). Nice for several sets of friends or 2 couples with child(ren). Very friendly and helpful hosts. Not sure they speak anything but Italian and Spanish as we never tried anything else. Great Pizzeria Da Gippy only a short drive away at KM 128 of SS1 Aurelia at the IP petrol station direction Grosseto.

This family farm was a joy for us to stay at, and we missed Giulia as soon as we left. If you are going to visit Nikki de Saint Phalle's Tarot Garden, il Giardino dei Tarochi, (and I very highly recommend you do!) this was a great place to stay, especially with younger kids. The owners are amazing and kind, allowing my daughter to collect the hen's eggs every afternoon, and touring us around their sheep farm. Saturnia is also fairly close (but we did not visit there). Be aware you definitely need a car to stay here - but there is ample free onsite parking. Thank you to Giulia for making our vacation so special!
