Firstly I have to say how welcoming amd helpful the manager Gregorio was. He gave us great restaurant recommendations down at the Port. If you get into town earlier in the evening you can park for free there after 5 during the week. Not sure about weekends. We hired a boat for the day through a contact of Gregorio’s and had a brilliant day out on the water exploring the bays and coastline. The location of the property is perfect. Only a short drive to the main beach and Port. It is a lovely historic property with great views from the rooms facing the gulf. Our bedroom was on the other side but we still had a nice hillside view. The bed was comfy and the room at night was nice and dark and incredibly quiet. Breakfast was excellent , so much choice, savoury and sweet. Again on Gregorio’s recommendation we visited the coast village of Macari and the hilltop town of Erice and had a really pleasant day. We stayed 3 nights which was just perfect. Don’t hesitate just book !
