Super modern, stylish and clean accommodation with a close distance to the cilento Nationalpark, which offers lots of beautiful hiking opportunities! Safe parking area, super comfortable bed and pillows and a super friendly host (Fabio) who gave me plenty information on activities and must sees. Breakfast included fresh fruits! I also received an upgrade of my room, which was super nice! I have even extended my stay there since I loved it so much, for sure it was my best stay during my 3 weeks italy roadtrip!

I felt at home at the Villa. My room and bed were most comfortable and I was able to keep a few groceries in the mini fridge included. Breakfast is simple but hearty. The coffee good. As the Villa is close to town, one can walk to the core of Sala Consilina for shopping, groceries and any number of cafes and restaurants. However, the restaurant and pizzeria at the Villa is very good and one only needs to walk downstairs from their room to the restaurant. The pizza is excellent and if pizza isn't what you desire, they offer many other delicious dishes on their menu. The Villa delle Acacie BnB is a most welcoming place. Maria, the BnB owner is most friendly and helpful in pointing one in the right direction towards various activities in agro tourism such as hiking, river rafting, sightseeing and other activites. For example, Maria took me to a field of a type of broccoli indigenous to Sala Consilina. We picked the broccoli, brought it back and made a nice lunch of rigatoni, garlic oil and broccoli. But not only does the Villa promote agro tourism, it encourages genealogy tourism (roots tourism) as well. As my family roots are mainly in the Vallo di Diano, Maria pointed out various resources in connecting one to their roots, such as the Museum of Surnames (Museo dei Cognomi) in Padula. The Ville delle Acacie BnB is a nice place in a central location in the Vallo di Diano. I had a lovely stay and I plan to come back here for a longer visit.

Our short stay at this agriturismo was definitely the highlight of our trip. The room was very clean and comfortable and the outside area is really calm and relaxing and offers a beautiful view. But what really made our stay special was the warm welcome we got from Filippo and Igniva. They made us feel at home right away, gave us useful recommendations for places to visit or where to eat in the neighbourhood and even offered explanations about beekeeping, a tour of their beehive and a tasting of their delicious honeys and liqueurs. They even brought us along to a nearby village fair where we got to taste many different (and delicious) preparations of a local variety of artichoke. Overall, this made for a unique experience and we cannot recommend it highly enough.

The location is absolutely stunning and the whole place feels new. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had an amazing private terrace with an incredible view. The staff were excellent. We also had dinner in the restaurant and it was some of the best food we have had during our trip (it was also very good value!). We definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. La Fonte is set in a quite beautiful countryside location where it is ideal for a peaceful, relaxing, close to nature stay. The business is run by a lovely Italian family! There is a fish farm and lots of own produce that they use to cook the delicious breakfast and evening meals. We loved the homemade juices, the freshly made cakes. We enjoyed exploring the grounds...there is a river that runs nearby, there is a large pond where there are fish and turtles. The rooms are nicely decorated with all that is needed, immaculately clean and well equipped bathrooms. We felt at home, loved our stay at La Fonte.
