Out stay was amazing - the host is very passionate about the place and making people feel at home. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious and we also did the wine tasting with Domenico which was great - I would definitely recommend you spend an afternoon doing that. The location was great with a beautiful view of the hills and it's also just 1 hour away from lovely cities and villages we visited. Domenico, the host, was always there to help us and give us information about the delicious wine he makes himself but also great local restaurants and places to visit.

The agriturismo is right on the bike trail between Vicenza and Lago di Fimon, a small scenic lake in a sleepy valley. The rooms and the breakfast were basic (coffee, juice, homemade breakfast cake, yogurt, bread) but fine (although the homemade pear preserves were outstanding!). The owner was friendly. Although the room is on a working farm, the working farm experiences of some agriturismos are not available here, just a simple, quiet, rural setting and a comfortable, clean, inexperience place to stay. A fine experience!

I stayed there because it was close to my destination the next day, plus, I always try to stay at agriturismos to support the local farmers. The property was secure with a gate though the area seemed plenty safe. I was showed to my room quickly and was delighted by the sparse but local/ethnic furnishings. Particularly the gorgeous antique furniture pieces that were so lovingly kept. I'm don't speak Italian and the hosts don't speak much English, but we figured it out! Just a heads up for anyone else in the same situation.
