We simply loved everything about this place. The location is excellent and the view is stunning. Volterra and other small towns very close perfect for day trips. The property is authentic but modern at the same time, very clean and comfortable. The host Claudia and her mom went above and beyond for our well being they are doing this by heart you really feel welcomed and like home. I recommend to take both the wine tasing and the cooking class. Super fun and informative activities. We enjoyed every second of our stay and will return for sure!

Paolo is a great chef. their hospitality is wonderful. it is an experience that they eight of us will never forget. we will be back!

It's on top of a hill, and to get there you have to go through an unpaved road on grassy hill where hundreds of sheep roam. The hotel itself is in an ancient farm which keeps you warm in winter and I guess it keeps you cool in summer. Our room, which had a flower name instead of a number, was huge and extremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast! Homemade cakes of all sorts. Lovely.

Beautiful roomy main bedroom and stone staircase with a great sense of the age of the building. Lovely little balcony to the rear and overlooking the quiet street in the front. Host was very helpful with arrangements and we had a very happy stay in this apartment and Volterra.

The house itself is a typical very nice farmhouse of the region built with regional stones. It is only 5 minutes drive to Volterra (unfortunately walking not recommended as only way is local small street with no pavement) and offers nice views to the toskanie hills within a large garden.BerndFamily with young children
