The cottage was beautifully appointed in period furnishings. The organic, fabulous breakfast including bread and jams made by Helena were over the top. The gorgeous dining room with elaborate table setting made us feel like royalty:) The extras…wine, port, sweets, fruit, were all bonuses we had not anticipated. The tour of the orchard and gardens was delightful!

Great venue that was renovated to keep its historic charm but provides all the modern conveniences such as AC, rain shower, TV. Breakfast area and food is phenomenal, atmosphere not comparable to any other place I’ve stayed before. We only stayed one night so didn’t have sufficient time to walk the farm and as we stayed beginning of April, we did not use the pool. We will definitely come back - Oryza is on my list to make a detour when we’ll be next in PT.

Excellent location across from the grocery store and near the river. Staff were very helpful and even found me some information about the farmers strike (which was blocking a Main Street in town), printed it and slid it under my door. The facility wasn’t fancy but was functional.

Beautiful courtyard and organic farm. Spacious bedroom and bathroom. Great shower. Lots of light. Breakfasts were freshly prepared, coffee and hot milk plentiful. Friendly and helpful staff made great suggestions for restaurants and sights. Felt like home away from home. Treated with care!

Although the entrance is not impressive , once you pass the external gate you find a beautiful old farm house with a huge yard, vegetable garden, chickens and trees. The room was very comfortable, and our host,Lydia did what ever she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible ,as well as lots of recommendations as to where to go and what to do.Breakfast was very good.We shall certainly return.

Lovely farm stay about 5 minutes out of Coimbra. House is relatively modern and new and within a gated property. Our host, Silvia, who was the manager there, was very welcoming and accommodating. Nice to have a common lounge room to sit in. Great for families with small children. Goats in the back of the property and two had given birth so we got to cuddle baby goats.

It is an old farm house with a great deal of character. The owner and his wife tried very hard to make things comfortable for us. The property was clean and comfortable.

Truly a unique property that was charming, bucholic as well as very cosmopolitan. The hosts, Lidia and Luis, were amazing and totally attentive and helpful. Chickens for fresh egg breakfast and totally contemporary accommodations in an age old farmhouse. Phenomenal!

This is a boutique vintage farmhouse hotel. The place is super cute. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We also loved the breakfasts. We loved everything about it. We also liked that it was ~5 minutes away from historic Coimbra yet we felt like we were 100 miles away.

The story of the house and the way that they have lovingly remodeled it is charming. Our bedroom and bathroom were gorgeous. The breakfast was huge and the staff are very kind. We loved the farmhouse concept where you could share the kitchen and the outdoor spaces. Unfortunately, it rained every day that we were there so we couldn't enjoy the lovely gardens. If we retuned, we would ensure we had a courtyard or patio room due to road noise.
