The property was beautiful and peaceful. The house itself was full of character and charm. My lodging was clean and had all the amenities for my privacy and comfort. There is a pool and garden area to sit in although I did not avail myself of these. The lodging rate included a most delicious and generous breakfast. I especially loved the “leite creme”, a typical sweet of this region which was made by the owner. I also enjoyed conversing with Paula, the owner of this country house. She was gracious, warm, very informative and welcoming and very engaging as I peppered her with questions over breakfast.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful- just so lovely and kind! The pool is lovely, breakfast was incredible, and it was very close to Porto for a change of scene.

The lady that runs this place is wonderful and is very helpful. Our room was adequate. Bathroom was large and very good. Clean, fresh towels every day. The location is quiet and rural. She was available to do all she could to help out with transport, the room, breakfast etc. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy. The breakfast was complimentary, and delicious! The hotel is in a very beautiful, rural part of Portugal and made for quite the lovely walk around sunset. The room is of good size while the bathroom is large. There is a huge skylight above the bed. The room could use more shelves. There is a farm smell outside but not in the room with windows closed. The courtyard is large and beautiful. The breakfast is good with mainly assorted breads.
