It was lovely to wake up to the sound of roosters and pigeons. The room was a good size and very clean. The staff were agreeable and the breakfast provided was generous. The apartment is located at a quite village, it is big & well equipped, for example washing/ dry machine, hair dryer, baked oven, iron etc. I don’t have a car, but I went running/ trekking every day. Spacious and comfy. The separate kitchen and living space is pretty cool! Pool was open late October for the braver ones in our group 😁🥶. They had everything we asked for and more. We even washed and dried our clothes there There are plenty of parking places, shops, parks, farmacy, cafés and restaurants around and you can easily walk everywhere in Santana. Felt like home, definitely coming back. Thanks for everything ♡

You can easily get to Queimadas or even hike to Pico Ruivo if you like challenges without getting into your car. It has a garden all for yourself with subtropical plants. The house was very clean, cozy with nice furniture and rustic decor. The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric stove and all appliances seemed new. Good breakfast was included. Friendly staff in the restaurant where you check in. Good-sized room with a rustic feel (good use was made of OSB-boards), comfortable bed.
