Breakfast is excellent, really complete! Sandomil (the village where the property is) is so calm and beautiful. The 'praia fluvial' that is nearby is really nice! Perfect for disconnecting a few days. I would recommend this Villa to anyone looking to disconnect for a few days, connect with nature and enjoy good food and local wine :)

We really enjoyed our stay there. It's a great place to spend a few days away from the buzz of the big city. Élio is a wonderful host, who makes us feel like we're home. His sister, Gina is a magnificent cook. And Igor, the farm's dog is so sweet! Don't be fooled by his size, he's a gentle giant.

We loved the location and character of the village. Easy parking on the streets. The house was welcoming the bedroom and toilet were a good size. Good aircon and host was lovely and accommodating.

The host, Jorge, is just wonderful! He made me feel at home and cared for during my two night stay. In a world where accomodation booked online feels more and more impersonal, this was a welcomed surprise and really upgraded my whole experience at the Serra da Estrela. The hospedagem is an old house which has been tastefully renovated. My room had a beautiful stone wall, a comfortable sofa to relax on while reading a book, drinking wine and looking the sun go down. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious with an amazing shower. A perfect place to unwind after a hiking day.

Absolutely perfect quite mountain retreat with amazing breakfast, incredible views, awesome hiking trails, and very friendly staff. I could easily spend a month here in the summer time. The warm bread in the morning was fantastic. Sitting around the fireplace at night listening to Christmas music will be remembered

Petfriendly is always our first filter. We always come here because we love Sabugueiro and it's a very good option for exploring the surroundings or just relaxing without going anywhere. Also, the staff is always very polite and friendly.
