Our visit to Die Ou Huis was like stepping back into a part of South African history! What a beautiful part of the country to visit, with walks amongst orchards and vineyards, swims in the dam and pool and adventuring out into Route 62! Our hosts made our stay a relaxing and wonderful experience. I'd highly recommend it for others who love a bit of 'old world' charm and want to experience an old rustic farmhouse experience, with the added luxuries of modern conveniences such as Wifi, aircon and kitchen accessories.

I loved how the beautiful historic farmhouse where we stayed (over 250 years old!) was placed placed with a sweeping view of the mountains and farm. There wasn’t anything missing that we could have needed and the property was perfectly clean. The beekeeping activity with Albertus was awesome!
