It's a little piece of paradise. We felt so welcomed and well looked after by the owner and Charl. We love everything they did at the cottage and the beautiful garden. All the details are being taken care of. It's a pity we only stayed for one night this time but we will surely return to enjoy the garden and play with the dogs.

Wellington real friendly person as he answered all our questions on the fish, trees etc. So many opportunities for this place to grow some veggies and sell to the people who will be using the units. We forgot eggs and Wellington was able to assist us with 4 eggs needed. Fresh from the farm :-) how awesome!

Stanford Lake is a place for nature lovers and you will spend more than outside exploring the farm and lake than inside the cottage irrespective whether it is raining in Magoebaskloof or not. Stanford Lake has an amazing atmosphere and is a pleasant break away from the city life.ChrisYoung couple

It's a well equipped house perfect for families or groups of friends. We loved the games room and the views through the big windows! Madeleine was very welcoming and thoughtful - homemade rusks and a bottle of wine upon arrival. The only thing we did not like is that our stay was too short.
