It's a little piece of paradise. We felt so welcomed and well looked after by the owner and Charl. We love everything they did at the cottage and the beautiful garden. All the details are being taken care of. It's a pity we only stayed for one night this time but we will surely return to enjoy the garden and play with the dogs.

It also provides a fair bit of privacy despite being on a working farm and has all the basic furniture, appliances and homeware you need for a self-service stay.

The place has Solar power which meant that we did not have load shedding. Well equipped Kitchen for Self-catering. Wi-fi available. 10minutes drive to the Blueberry Farm Cafe for some delicious blueberry muffins and 15minutes to the Small Haenertsburg village for some "small" town shopping and lunch.

Stanford Lake is a place for nature lovers and you will spend more than outside exploring the farm and lake than inside the cottage irrespective whether it is raining in Magoebaskloof or not.
