The host was very quick to reply and gave clear instructions on the hot tub and other facilities. Everything was clean and tidy and being right next door to the "ouplaas" restaurant and shop was really handy but completely private. Being only about 5kms outside Hermanus it's very easy to get to the waterfront, shops and restaurants. If you want some quiet time, in a little "farm workers" cottage I would definitely recommend.

Very modern but also rustic, beautiful furniture and furnishings. Amazing vistas and stars at night. Wood fired hot tub was the highlight and outdoor bath and shower if you so desired. ( there was a beautiful bathroom inside too so don’t worry ;)

Next door was the Plaaskombuis Restaurant with the most amazing South African food to enjoy. Oh yes and the fact that we didn't have cellphone reception or a TV was a big bonus so we could fully recharge.
