This farm stay provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. The farm stay offers mountain views and an outdoor fireplace.

Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful setting. While we only stayed one night and arrived quite late, we saw monkeys, deer, and other wildlife. Bed was comfortable. Our drive to the accommodation was slow due to weather - the proprietor phoned us to make sure we were ok and stayed up late to ensure we arrived safely. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The Cowshed is located in the Badfontein Valley between Lydenburg and Machadodorp. The picturesque farm offers individually decorated vintage style accommodation.

A selection of activities are offered in the area, such as cycling, fishing, hiking and horse riding. Dullstroom is a 45-minute drive away and Sabie is 80 km from the farm.

The decor was beautiful and the ambiance is fantastic.

The spacious farm stay has 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and dishwasher, and a living room. The farm stay also comes with 2 bathrooms with a shower and a washing machine. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Tranquil setting in the game farm. My family and dogs enjoyed the guided walk with Markus. We did a 4x4 trip up the mountain and had spectacular views and also saw blue wildebeest. Comfortable accomodation in a clean and well equipped house. We saw a pair of jackals, kudus, impalas and an owl. Fully relaxed and recharged after 4 days stay.

It's a lovely place for anyone who loves nature and enjoys a rustic vacation. The owner is very nice, always checking up if everything is okay. I would not recommend this place for anyone who does not like camping. Spiders everywhere you look. We loved our stay there and will be going back again in the future. If you love camping and the outdoors, do yourself a favour and book a weekend. You won't regret it.

Such an amazing place. An old farm, which has been upgraded to the most modern standards. The host gave us a very warm welcome, and the room was spacious, with the biggest and one of the most comfortable best I've ever slept in. Such a beautiful garden to relax in, and even the load shedding did not affect us due to the battery system that was installed. Would definitely recommend to stay here, too bad it was only for one night

Hospitality was very great, and the view of nature was breathtaking. The room reminded me of our farmhouse. There was an alarm system for the cars and felt very safe in the location.
