The cabins are lovely and the view in the morning is amazing. The entire location is just gorgeous. I was pleasantly surprised by the bathroom and the showers, the water was always warm and relatively insect-free. In fact, there aren't many bugs there at all. The food was quite good, it's mostly the typical Costa Rican food but I'm sure if you ask, they could make something else for you. It's a fantastic place for birdwatching, whether you are a serious birder or not. Some normally pretty rare birds are easily found there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the birds. You can go on a free coffee tour if you're staying there. We also had a lot of fun walking the trails and often tagged along with the birding tour that takes place every morning. However, you can also spend all days sitting in the little restaurant area and watch the hummingbirds, toucans, aracaris, tanagers and other birds at the feeders.

The cabaña is lovely and the scenery in front of it is quite something. The bed is super comfortable and has nice fleece covers. The bathroom was clean and the water pressure and temperature were perfect! Even the fact that there was a tiny kitchen with a microwave, a coffee maker with coffee on site by the way, nice touch! Also a single ceramic stove and all the cutlery you would need for a simple meal. A small smart TV with YouTube and netflix just makes it even cozier! The whole cabaña was neat!
