Search farm stays in East Java

A pretty basic room, but a good location for access to Mount Bromo and waterfalls. Nice view of farmland from the terrace, but no proper covered space for dining when it rained (which it did a lot). Food was pretty basic. Eko, our host, was great for organizing our trips and the drivers were really great.

We had a very good time at Pondok Is Oke, the family was very nice with us, they arranged shuttle and Ijen tour for us. The place was clean and comfortable, in the middle of their farm's fields. Breakfast was good. The place relaxing and quiet. I highly recommend this place for a trip to Ijen.

Ijen Miner Homestay has a beautiful location, in the middle of coffee-pantages and little farms. It makes it a interesting place. At the same time, it makes that you are of the grid and a long way from villages. The owner will help you with transport and food.

The friendliness of the family running this place is the stand out feature. On arrival Nino offered us dinner (for free), all harvested from the family farm and cooked by his mother. He also spent plenty of time with us, explaining about life there, and helped us arrange all our travel.

It`s a nice and simple accomodation in a rural setting in walking distance to the beach. A small pool is available. The staff is friendly and nice and the room was quiet. Small and simple seafood restaurants are around the corner.

Ranch Mart opposite the hotel, Marugame Udon, Fore Coffee shops, and Malang Struddel just one minute walk. More restaurants on Kawi Street only few minutes ride from the hotel. Good car parking lots.

Location is great, there are many stores around, ranch market, groceries stores indomaret, mall, and even traditional market of oro-oro dowo is within walking distant ( I like walking). we can jog around ijen location to get some exercise. The WIFI connection is FANTASTIC. room is very clean and not so crowded in the Kertanegara. Would definitively come back to stay here next time I visit malang. Great Value for money !
