The breakfast room is fully stocked all day long with anything you could possibly desire for a continental breakfast: not just cereals, but 3 different sorts of artisan breads, local luxury cheeses and smoked salmon, many different jams, honey, peanut butter, fresh fruit, and countless varieties of tea, coffee and drinking chocolate. Plus a range of dairy and plant-based milks. The house is slightly up a hillside overlooking much of Dunquin and has the most wonderful views of the sea and the Blasket Islands. Sunsets are a treat. Padraig is a fantastic host: so friendly, welcoming, an erudite mine of knowledge of local history and lore, helpful in terms of suggesting things to do and making phone calls to help you achieve them. He gives this place its special charm.

Seamus and his family were really accommodating and helpful but also left us to have our privacy. the barn itself has everything you could need, plenty to keep the kids entertained too. the animals on the farm were also great for the kids. we had our own car which was perfect for getting into Galway and exploring the local area. Would certainly recommend. it is clear Seamus really wants all guests to enjoy there time at the barn and a lot of effort is put into the property. Muckross Riding Stables offer a scenic location within Killarney National Park and close to its lovely lakes. This property has horses and ponies on site to view and interact with.

Muckross Riding Stables offers charming, spacious rooms. All rooms have heating, a bathroom and a flat-screen TV. The location was great. Being a little out of Killarney it was quiet, but it was only maybe 5 or 6 minutes from the city centre. The bed was comfy and the room was much larger than we needed. The staff we met were pleasant but they were still trying to limit contact with guests due to COVID. The puppies and bunnies were a great little bonus.

Staff was great nice and clean rooms . Close to everything . Breakfast downtown great . You couldn’t even tell you were on a farm.
