Nesjum
Set on a traditional Icelandic farm, Setberg Guesthouse is located outside of Höfn, a 14-minute drive from the seaside village centre. Located at the foot of mountains, you can enjoy the impressive view from the room or go hiking for a closer look. The place had been renovated, so all of the rooms were exceptionally well done and clean. The kitchen had every necessity you made need for a proper meal. They also had coffee and tea! The location was beautiful and close to hiking and kayaking. Plus, the dog was extremely sweet and gave me the doggie fix we were looking for. Would highly recommend the place!!

Perfect place along the Eastern side of the Ring Road, located beautifully at the upper end of a fjord. Very well equipped. Offers a homely place while being on the road.
Back to nature, farmhouse, and community setting. Helpful and friendly hosts. Well-equipped kitchen
Wonderful staff. Good food. Beautiful valley for hiking. We stayed in the charming old farmhouse. Pool house with sauna and showers was nice.
Lovely old traditional farmhouse refurbished nicely. Nice and clean. Good value for money. Very nice friendly, chatty owner who greeted everyone pleasantly. Great position with nice views and a bonus surprise of a herd of wild Reindeer grazing by the gravel road on the drive up to the guest house.
Friendly owner and staff..The best breakfast that we had so far for our 5 day trip on the ring road. We enjoyed meeting with several nice horses nearby from the neighboring farm ranch.
Excellent location, a farm house surrounded by fields, nature, and sheep. And also close to road 1. Equipped kitchen, the rooms are on a separate floor from the kitchen and living room
Super location infront of 4 glaciers with views of highest point in iceland too. Amazing kindness and hospitality from delightful couple Magnus and Gudrew who own the farm. Great strong hot showers and very comfy beds. Breakfast served in a fascinating room like a converted barn windows on 3 sides, complete with dinner tables, armchairs, telescope for viewing the glacier, real piano and every type of musical instrument in one corner and a bar along another wall.
wonderful hiking out, bird watching was great and there were seals in the inlet. house is an older farmhouse that was converted into the Hostel so the bathrooms were very small. my kids loved the pet sheep and the dog
A true farm stay. Loved getting so close to baby lambs, chickens and quail(?). Their location in between Diamond Beach and Seydisfjordur was key to make our vacation less crazy with driving.
Incredible location and truly amazing to stay at a generations-old Icelandic farmhouse. Full of charm and character — and again, the location cannot be beat even if it’s a long trek down a gravel road to get there. I would come again.
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The farmhouse was traditional and charming. The purpose built sauna, lounge with hammocks and outdoor hot bath were all excellent and very cosy and relaxing. Breakfast was served in the rustic farmhouse kitchen and was a great start to the day.
