Very nice and cosy apartment in a farmhouse with animals in the countryside! Everything was exactly as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need to cook and eat there, at our arrival we found water and other drinks in the fridge as well as tea and coffee for free use. Very comfortable beds, the bathroom is new and very spacious. You can park the car in front of the apartment for free. The hosts, who live next door, are very nice, check in and check out without complications!

Vakantiewoning Bovenhaar is a recently renovated farm stay in Punthorst, where guests can make the most of its seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is located 21 km from Theater De Spiegel. We loved staying at Bovenhaar. The accommodation and hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed - comfy bed, big warm bathroom, coffee and tea. The whole area, especially the forest behind the property is definitely worth a visit. We connected well even with the curious chickens.

Guests at the farm stay can enjoy a continental or a à la carte breakfast. We stayed at the big house which was magical. It was a very clean and modernly furnished farm house. The rooms were large and comfortable. The house had two toilets and two large bathroom, the ground floor bathroom had a very large bathtub. The kitchen was very well equipped with all the needed appliances and kitchenware. We ate three meals a day at the house during our stay and we only needed to bring groceries. The living room is huge with ample seating and good size TV. The property is managed by the most friendly hosts you can have (Leidia and Tom). The backyard was large enough for the kids to play in and for the whole family to have nice relaxing nights of barbeque and snacks. The farm has two cows, a few goats, a few chickens and a cat. The kids loved the animals especially the goats. We rented bikes from a local guy recommended by the hosts who delivered them and picked them up the next day at a very short notice and great price. The surrounding area is full of bike routes and narrow country roads that are ideal for cycling for hours. The town center is about 15 minutes away by bike.
