It was a quiet setting with outlook to the farms. The management and staff were wonderful. We also took a very cheap but excellent tour to the Durbar square and an arranged transfer to the airport.

It's closer to Kathmandu, like half an hour from Bouddha stupa, but very quiet, a bit up the hill, more of a rural setting, and close to Kopan monastery. Just ideal

Really beautiful location! Very fancy! Very quiet! Probably one of the best places I stayed during my 2-3months in Nepal. Breakfast is at this gorgeous restaurant next door. If you are there on Saturdays there this really cute farmers market. At night there is a guard out so it feels very secure

If you like rustic and being close to nature (whilst still having everything you need, like wifi and hot shower), then this is for you! Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages listening to the forest insects instead of horns and bells

Everyone on the farm were really friendly. The place was amazing. And the food was really good.

Very nice little community of people doing fitness together and enjoying each others company, where you also get some very low price accomodations. The owner is a really good guy and the people around are all very good people as well. Being in a rural area makes the nighttime very quiet and undisturbed. Many good things about this place that make it special. Love this place and the people

This is Bunglow of one Nepali Family basically from this village. You can not compare with Hotel. But you can enjoy farm house life and barbeque food here. This is situated 2-3 kms off road on Hill. Beautiful nature and Sunrise you can enjoy here.

Lovely farm and family, comfortable room and communal spaces. Easily accessible by public transit from Kathmandu and good hiking once you’ve arrived. A wonderful place to stay and learn about agriculture, meet other travelers, and eat Nepali meals.

Shiva GH is a farmhouse located on a terraced hillside a little outside of town. Views of the valley and Himalayan range were spectacular, The owner was most friendly. I stayed two nights and took dinner (delicious dal bhat) and breakfast (egg and toast) from the owner on both days. The only way to reach Shiva GH is by narrow footpath, so I have posted two frames with clear directions. It was well-worth the effort to find it. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who enjoys seeing ordinary life.
