Marina was very accomodating to my need for 24/7 power at my telescope and even had a temporary gate erected around it for protection from any roaming livestock. Their cats are also very friendly, one of them staying in my room for company all night long :).

Platbakkies Farm Retreat is located on the R355 between Kliprand and Springbok and features barbecue facilities and a garden. This property also provides guests with a children's playground. The owners were very friendly and the food was excellent. I will definitely recommend it. It feels like a home away from home.
