Free parking a bit difficult to find in high season, but there is a private space where bikes can be stored under cover and several local bike hire shops nearby. Property nice and clean, and well placed not to get over hot in summer. What is there not to like about Arcachon ?

It was very spacious for two people and having a large balcony with a clothes airer makes it easy for us to dry our beachwear as we were in the water every day. The bedroom was also very cosy with fairly black-out curtains. The location is superb with the beach only a few minutes walk and a supermarket and many restaurants less than a minute from the flat.

Local supermarket, open and covered market, boulangeries, bike rental, beach, and restaurants all within easy walking distance. It was ideal for a short holiday.
