    Exceptionally clean, don’t think I have ever stayed in such a clean hotel. Bathroom appeared as though no one had ever stayed there. Comfy bed, luxurious! Great tea / coffee selection. Breakfast at nearby cafe was superb!!

    Top quality everything!! Easy self check in - no keys required. Large comfy bed, awesome shower, and every last detail well thought out. It was a warm night so there were bedside fans, excellent hair dryer for those with long hair, superb location. Wonderful.

    An absolutely gorgeous property, really well appointed- certainly deserves its 5 star rating! The house was spotlessly clean with everything we could want. A great location and we enjoyed a great meal at the pub a couple of doors down.

    Superb cottage, luxurious and large - we really appreciated the space and all the amenities we could ask for; a great place to relax and right on the doorstep of Cockermouth and the Lakes. We'll definitely be back!

    Ann's Hill cottage is a 5 star worth of a luxury accommodation. Every thing you will find in a 5 star hotel was there. Vanessa is an exceptional host. The cottage is surrounded by fields, so very private, although it is in a farm, you definitely don't hear any animal sounds. The location is convenient for 20mins drive to Derwentwater and Buttermere.
