Family who run the pods were excellent. so friendly and nothing was a bother, Abby and her mum. The views were just extraordinary overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake! The pods are actually on a working farm….this is no issue whatsoever! Personal seating areas, barbecue area and the hosts can provide all of the items to have a first class barbecue including the meat (which was awesome local produce) 5 stars from us!

The meals are 10 out of 10. well worth the money all around, stayed here quiet a few times and every time I have stayed it’s been 5 stars. i wouldn’t ever stay anywhere else around this area. Staff were doing other duties as well as their usual. the meals, both breakfast and evening were of a super quality. Staff were pleasant and helpful at all times even though they were very busy. 5 stars from us. only the weather throw a spanner in the works. We have booked again for next year.John RYoung couple
