Clean, comfortable and the staff are great. Annie is always so welcoming with a big beaming smile and a "Hi Rob, nice to see you again...." Meals and drinks in the adjacent pub are superb value too and once again, the staff are outstanding.

Unfortunately the drains in my bathroom were smelling so I informed reception who came straight up with the maintenance man. They were very apologetic and upgraded me immediately to an even better room! Fantastic service and response, why can't all hotels treat their guests like this. Absolutely brilliant. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. 5 stars!DeanGroup

It is a lovely hotel and professionally run with excellent food. Not all hotels are professionally run. The quality of decor in the rooms are better than a lot of so called 4 and 5 stars hotels. We have family near by and will stay there time and time again as we consider it a lovely treat. If going, book dinner in advance as it is likely to be fully booked if you leave it until you get there.
