Overlooking Narberth and the Preseli Mountains, The Grove is a luxurious 18th-century country house surrounded by meadows. This privately owned 'Restaurant with Rooms' has won recent National awards as the ‘Best place to eat and stay in Wales'.

From the moment we arrived the staff at Grove of Narberth went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensuring my girlfriend had a good birthday. The grounds are beautiful and lovely to explore. We ate in the Artisan restaurant and thought the food was delicious and the waiting staff were excellent and friendly. Only wish we could have stayed longer at this beautiful hotel.

Looking for a five-star hotel?

When the accommodation is just as important as the destination, a five-star stay should give that extra ‘wow’ factor as you enter the lobby. As well as offering the kind of service to make you feel like royalty, you’ll usually find highly rated on-site spas, gourmet restaurants and top-of-the-line beds you won’t want to get out of.

Spa is excellent, restaurant is superb - Michelin level. The views are superb and the nearby town was quaint and had a lovely atmosphere - also only a 3 minute walk!

The staff were great, it's in a fantastic location and they are trying really hard to make sure your stay is good. Great value for money. It's not 5 star but it is clean, not over priced and very friendly. We brought two of our friends from Australia with us and they loved it, as did we.

We had a great stay at Valley Grove. I was a bit nervous after reading the reviews, but it was actually great. The bungalow we stayed in was clean and well equipped. It wasn't a 5 star stay but it was just what we needed. We had some issues with WiFi (needs to be paid for separately) but it was sorted on our second day. The entertainment was nice, bar staff very friendly and helpful, the food is not amazing, but you won't starve. Great stay altogether

Great location, wonderful friendly staff and amazing service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. I’m fortunate to have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and the service we received here was better than most of these. Exceptional all the way and made for a great long weekend. Thank you.

Excellent spa facilities and highly trained and lovely staff both hotel and spa staff. We used the spa each day and had treatments which were 5 star and well done by the therapists. We are so relaxed.

Absolute excellent holiday at Nythfa This guest house is such a lovely place to stay, very welcoming with excellent hospitality, 5 star standard in all aspects. Breakfasts are delicious, with lots of choices. We stayed in the de-luxe suite which has a sitting room overlooking the very pretty garden where one can relax. The owners, Debbie and Nev are extremely helpful and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning for sure.

The apartment was so well furnished it felt nicer than most 5 star hotels but with all the privacy and remote feeling of a cottage in the country. The staff were incredibly considerate, friendly, and happy to just chat about anything. It was spectacularly clean with a ridiculous array of amenities including satellite television but being a 3-5 mintue walk from the seafront and drive into Saundersfoot there's also plenty to do in the area.

Great location, relatively easy walk to Saundersfoot. Place was clean and tidy and had a warm reception. Best of all was a small kitchenette so we wouldn't have to eat out every night/morning. Only stayed one night so couldn't make full use of the facilities like the cosy looking common room and pool. It's not a five star hotel - there's one across the road if you want it at >double the price. It would be difficult to improve on the warm reception from the hosts at Malin though! Will definitely stay again.
