When we arrived the very happy friendly owner gave us an upgrade to a bigger room as he had a cancellation. So we had the garden room. It was really nice and modern and had illy coffee for the machine! The bed was mega comfortable and there was a sofa and TV for chilling. It was only 200m from the centre of town so we could wander down and stumble back later on. You can also pop out to Dartmoor in 10mins drive. Overall felt very happy and relaxed when we left.

The food was out if this world absolutely delicious def Michelin starred. One of the best meals both myself and my husband have had.

It was like being in the pages of Homes and Gardens The bed was large and the linen was beautiful and crisp! The staff were spot on and the food was out of this world. If you can't stay here because it is booked up at least try and have a meal, the food is Michelin class! I would stay there anytime, a real gem!

Even the bathroom was kitted out top notch. breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and quality food was used.

The room was nice, a comfy bed and plenty of sockets - spotlessly clean. The breakfast was a true delight - locally sourced products that were superb and cooked to perfection.
