Riva, a distinguished villa in close proximity to Negombo, is a meticulously restored 180-year-old traditional manor house nestled within a lush five-acre coconut estate. The property is beautiful and in an oasis. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. The Staff is very friendly, accommodating and, above all, eager to please. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in the Monsoon Villa, and it was simply a little piece of paradise surrounded by the countryside experiencing Sri Lanka at its best. From the time we arrived to departure, we felt so welcome, staff couldn't do enough for us with beautiful food and service. Whilst out of the city, the hotel offers everything you need and more, and we actually liked the tranquillity coming from Colombo. Honestly, do yourself a favour and don't hesitate to book here. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Big room with desk, small sitting area and comfortable bed. The balcony with nice view over the pond is beautiful for relaxing at night. . Everything is very clean. Good food at the restaurant and also the Café Engine. Very nice staff. I have been here several times and will come again. After arrival or before departure at the airport I much prefer Veyangoda instead of the more touristy Negombo.
