The views from Terrace 16 as well as the food and drinks on the Chicago River was our favorite part of the stay.

Just 2 blocks away from the famed shopping, dining and entertainment on Michigan Avenue’s Magnificent Mile, this luxury hotel towers above the city in a skyscraper designed by renowned architect Mies van der Rohe, offering upscale amenities and stylish comfort in the heart of downtown Chicago. Breakfast was delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the bar staff and door men. The pool/spa area was relaxing. The artwork and attention to detail was exceptional.

The facilities at the Chicago location offer an escape from the hustle and bustle of the busy downtown area. The (city) views from the south facing side of the building are amazing.

Each room at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago features a flat-screen TV, a microwave, and a refrigerator. They are styled with contemporary designs and rich fabrics. Select rooms have a terrace or sofa bed. I was impressed by the room with its incredible view and the fireplace. The staff, the room service, I could go on and on, but to make it short: my stay exceeded my expectations. I have stayed in the original Waldorf in NYC many years ago and I am so glad to have had another amazing experience at a Waldorf. A special thanks to Angel. 10/10 in every way and I will definitely be back next time I am in Chicago.
