A bit far away from the city center but close enough to the airport, for us this was the most important thing. The hotel is very good, Novotel standard, you won't be disappointed! We got a packed breakfast becuase of the early tours but it was delicious and enough.

Location wise this hotel is pretty central and close to surabaya's main attractions.
