Stayed for 1 night due to train strikes and couldn't get home. They accommodated our small dog also. Room was really lovely, really comfy bed and spotlessly clean, especially reguarding it being a dog friendly room. Staff are all so lovely and friendly, and the breakfast included was superb! Quality food and incredible presentation! Right next to the train station which was perfect for us, and a short stroll to the quay, or high street. Lovely stay and would return.

The hotel is superb. Loads of quirky deco. The hostess Revka was amazing and so friendly. The beds were super comfy. The room was huge. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing. We had dinner and breakfast there and the waiter was really lovely and welcoming. I would definitely return.

Great little rooming house literally just round the corner from the main high street with pubs and shops. A large Waitrose across the road. Very comfortable, clean room, bed and linen super comfy. Added extras like chocolate and little Easter eggs were a nice welcome touch. There's no cooked breakfast but a convenient guest fridge provides each room with orange juice and milk and there are yogurts and a choice of cereal.

Disappointing that the breakfast was all pre-packed, I had no idea how long it had been there, no sell-by dates. The kettle was left full of water & is in serious need of a descale or replacement, but the decor is very pleasant & the bed is comfy. The shower is hot & powerful but I didn't feel safe in it, & slipped a couple of times.

Unexpectedly spacious, cosy and warm, comfy beds, excellent shower and water pressure. Glamping great for our teen. Worth a note on layout of cottage due to potential needs of different age groups in your party...the two double bedroom and bathroom are all downstairs. One double is right next to the bathroom. The twin room is upstairs and the stairs lead down directly from the room so not necessarily suitable for a toddler (no stair gate). There is a door at the bottom of the stairs so safe for little ones once they are downstairs

Lovely little boat, sleeping cabin a bit of a squeeze but very comfy. Ideal for a overnight experience and definately was fun. Steve supplied on request chilled Prosecco and glasses on arrival which was perfect. We totally loved staying on Hoitak.

The location was great, the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. Peaceful and elegant. Beautiful stream with couple of bridges that you have to walk over to get to the main entrance. Staff were lovely and friendly. Room was cute and the bed was so comfy. Dinner and breakfast was gorgeous too. The steak is amazing! Best we’ve had. It’s a bit pricey but worth the money for the class. Definitely felt posh and didn’t want to leave. Would love to go back!!
