The mountain setting is absolutely stunning and the welcome by our host was warm and sympathetic - right from the first encounter in the Dana village over the delicious tea to the excellent homemade food. Our conversations gave us insights and thereby a deeper understanding of local life. One of the walls in our room was natural rock and facing it we had large windows giving us a magnificent view towards the valley and mountains. The whole area is very peaceful and safe - besides from being extraordinarily beautiful!

About four hundred years ago, the present village was built. Over the years, many families in Dana village have moved to the nearby village of Qadissiya in search of better jobs, schools, and housing. The village is now abandoned. When Dana became a nature reserve, we restored our family houses and made it a commendation for tourists who started to come and visit the nature. We named it Dana Tower Hotel.

Dana tower hotel was by far the best hotel/ hostel I have stayed at in Jordan. It is also one of the most unique hotels as far as the interior decorating goes. You feel like you are in a Castel or a beautiful historic house. The property is in great condition, and the owner Ramzi is very accommodating and friendly. It is brand new with a rooftop and dining area. The food there is also really delicious and comes from local farmers. Definitely recommend this place!
