Gajapuri, which means "Elephant's Empire" in Sanskrit, offers a luxurious tropical experience with its spa and outdoor spa bath. Everything was just perfect. It feels like a little jungle paradise, but has restaurants, shops and every service you might need right outside. The beach is beautiful (although only really suitable for swimming at high tide), pool is great, breakfast is delicious and has something different every day. All the staff are really helpful and friendly, but Sand really went the extra mile and made us feel so welcome and well taken care of. She never tired of making friends with my incredibly shy 1 year old, and came running with insect repellant before I even realized the flies were having a feast on me that one morning I came to breakfast unusually early.

A truly beautiful experience in the jungle. Puts everything materialistic into perspective We don't need much to be happy - somewhere to sleep, water and food is all that's necessary. Above all, the kindness and warmth shown by Gang was incredible. She made us so welcome.

They have beautiful gardens all around that they take a lot of care over, and sweet tempered cats and small dogs that gave us lots of hugs! The room was our own little tree house with very clean bathroom downstairs and bedroom and terrace seat upstairs, with just enough room to roll out a yoga mat! Exceptional value for such a lovely space
