Our host met us on site. He explained the workings of the Airstream, how to use them and gave us a little history about the place, itself. We loved the clean, original interior and period decor. We had everything we needed. A/C worked great, Wi-Fi was steady, and the location was quiet - surprisingly better priced than hotels in the area. Beautiful chickens, grey geese, a white turkey and a shy peacock free-ranged the grounds but weren't intrusive. It was interesting to watch them... the rooster was quite a handsome fellow! It's just a short drive up the road to Beaufort so we were close to everything.
