A good location for a stress-free holiday in Oudtshoorn, Natures Rest Lapa is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features an open-air bath, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. It is set 43 km from Oudtshoorn Golf Course and offers a shared kitchen. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.

Fantastic that I was allowed to walk around the farm and see the evidence of millions of years of Earth history when the Karoo was an inland sea, and thin layers of sediment was deposited, and now sits on a 85° angle, with trace fossils of the still primordial wetland... Zebras and springbok are the myriad, of uniquely Karoo fynbos, with the unique fresh scent in the air. The bright Karoo starlight makes the winter night priceless. Even though I slept in the caravan, I enjoyed a king's view of the night sky. Far enough out from the maddening crowd, yet near enough to all the tourists attractions in the cities and towns nearby. Probably nice to bring your mountain bike, and rest at one of the many picnics tables in the veld. Lula, the friendly sheep dog went out walking with me, and we had many adventures.

wow! this hostel was just beyond my expectations... literally had everything you could need. At Joint backpacker you don't feel like you are in a hostel, but at home. The owners treated me like family and were super helpful with everything. Really kind people! One of the fewest hostels who doesn't think only about money and cares a lot about people and the guests. Good location, clean hostel, comfortable beds, and good WiFi - all for a very good price! 100% recommended. Thank you René and JP for being so amazing :)

Stayed 2 nights in a beautiful 'glamping' luxury tent at this resort. My view was a bunch of young ostriches all the time drinking water from the stream and relaxing. Really great! I also really enjoyed the dinners and breakfast.

The absolute definition of glamping. Our family from abroad were overjoyed by their first camping experience. Clean, comfortable and still with a true sense of staying in a tent. The view and animals around made it extra special.

Had a great stay in the family cabin. Albert and Elza are wonderful hosts. They have thought of everything. It was an absolute treat staying here. Location is fantastic, with gorgeous views. The cabin was beautifully decorated, beds were warm and comfy. Huge fireplace with plenty of firewood provided. So much to see in the local area, Albert gave us great recommendations. Will definitely be back.

The stay completely exceeded our expectations. Glamping (airco, comfy beds, clean bathroom) at a beautiful location right in nature. We also booked the braai package for our first night and loved it.
