This was our second stay at Maramba River Lodge and as always it was a comfortable and welcoming stay. We even woke up to a hippo and elephant wandering past our cabin at night. Great value for money. I had a couple of extra nights at Victoria Falls before I could catch my flight. I was looking gor an affordable place close to the nature to enjoy the Zambezi river. This place ticked all the boxes. The tent was very comfy, the vibe was friendly and toilets and showers were very clean. The staff was helpful and forthcoming and the food was tasty.

Very friendly welcome by Caroline and Kenny. After a short introduction we were guided to our room which was a nice comfy room, but as soon as we wanted to unpack, we heard a knock on the door and our hosts offered us a free upgrade to a bigger room that was more the luxe. Also they arranged a great safari for us into Botswana. We can highly recommend the hotel, plus eat the local nshima at their restaurant! ✨️

This place is in the middle of a village, remote and isolate. It is more a glamping experience than luxury accommodation. if you are looking for a bush experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you. we were not prepared for that, but the staff is very friendly and they will try to meet your requests were possible.

Really bad service at the reception. Breakfast was not even 1 star and air conditioning went off every night for hours and it was so hot inside that we could not breath.
