Beach is beautiful and close by. We were able to hire a grill bbq from reception which was great, the option to order rolls from the bakery was fabulous, as were the wagons that were free to use for the duration of our stay. It can get very cold at night so would advise bringing extra blankets.

Directly on the Cape Arkona coast of the Baltic Sea in Putgarten on the island of Rügen, these uniquely decorated apartments are set on a large estate offering sauna facilities. WiFi is available for a small extra fee. Fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We arrived late and hungry with the bikes, no food around. The hosts shared with us a delicious dinner, that they cooked for themselves. The place itself is very peacful, literally nothing around yet there are fun activities for children, like a playground, toys, farm animals, cats... Will come back!
