The place is difficult to reach without a car, but it really worth the effort. The surroundings are beautiful and the caravan is close to Scafell Pike, Wast Water and other marvellous places in the West part of the Lake District. There are small shops at 15 minutes drive for emergency shopping, otherwise bigger supermarkets and shops are available in the closest cities such as Whitehaven.

This mobile home comes with 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a shower. Meals can be prepared in the kitchen, which features a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and an oven. Everything was perfect was nice to be greeted and shown round by Phillipa given the keys and contact number if any problems talked about the local area where I discovered 2 old quarrys to walk the dogs and felt like home from home.

Everything you needed including towels tea towels etc Host thought of everything with some treats left - and some for our grandchildren - not expected but appreciated and a lovely touch- correspondence with owner second to none- he really wanted to make sure we had a great time

The caravan was comfortable and very clean. Great price and would definitely return if given the chance. The owners gave great instructions and were only happy to help with any questions we had.

Great communications from the owner meant we able to access the property with no issues. Great location for us with many beautiful places in the lakes only a short drive away. We would definitely book again as great value for money.
